The degree of further "historical significance" then depends on a multitude of factors, including if the structure is representative of an architectural style, its association with a locally or nationally famous event or person, or being located within the boundaries of a local or national historic district, to name a few. Using various methods of research, information can be gathered that will help to piece together the story of your home.
