Healthy Kids covers children who don’t qualify for publicly-funded programs and whose family income does not exceed 300 percent of the Federal Poverty Level (about $56,000 for a family of four). The California Endowment today announced $7.5 million in premium subsidy support for 17 CHIs across the state. This funding will provide health coverage for about 8,000 uninsured California kids.
