You cannot obtain clear title without in some way dealing with all existing liens. When you purchased the property, you very likely paid off all of the liens. If there are still liens against the property that were there before you purchased the property, then you do not have clear title. If you have evidence of any existing liens, then take them to the title company that provided you with title insurance.
