A homestead property is generally considered your primary residence in Texas. Debt consolidation restrictions may apply. 2 Consult your tax advisor concerning interest deductibility. 3 Line amounts are based upon collateral value, creditworthiness and state maximum loan to value limitations. In accordance with state law, the maximum combined loan to value may not exceed 80% of the fair market value of your homestead property. 4 For example, repayment of a 30 year home equity loan would consist of 360 monthly payments of $6.42/$1,000 borrowed at 6.59% APR. The disclosed APR assumes that the borrower will pay 1% at the time of origination. The maximum loan amount for this offer is $750,000. If you pay off your loan early, there may be a prepayment penalty. You will be responsible for the cost of any mortgage recording or other taxes where applicable. He wrote a book that is padded to the hilt with useless information fo fund it. If you want to know what the weather or the people in Spain are like then you can read about it in this book. The amount of helpful information about buying property in Spain can be found in about 2 pages, information that you would probably find online. Seriously don't waste your money by buying this book, save it for your house in Spain. None of the other books I considered explain the legal documents involved in buying a Spanish property quite as clearly. The sample documents helped me to understand what was asked of me. As somebody who has never dealt with Spanish solicitors and agents before, I was glad to get a low-down on what they do and what to look out for from this book. The style of writing is amateurish to say the least, the layout has obviously been designed by someone that's just bought some new software and wants to use all it's features at once, the content is shallow and next to useless as a guide to buying property. The book deals with all aspects of buying and all the legal side of a purchase in spain, and all the strange spainsh laws that us English do not understand,such as checking that the property has no debts attatched to it or if you buy and it has YOU are responsable for them. This book is well written,and in most part (not the law side)very easy to understand ,and has informed me of a lot of things i did not know which is very valuable when you are spending a lot of your hard earned cash on a purchase in a different contry with such uncommon laws,i would highly recommend this book if you are considering a place in the sun. TLTA feels that the needs of associations have changed and as technology has advanced, ASI has responded to those changes and advancements with enhancements and new products. “They (ASI) have made it their business to respond to user feedback by updating the software to better serve the needs of their users,” added Midgely. In fact, TLTA has received more than 12 upgrades of iMIS and have upgraded from iMIS LAN to the Microsoft SQL version in the last decade. The TLTA is a non-profit state trade association that represents over 600 Texas title insurance companies, abstract companies and title insurance agents that are engaged in the transference of title to real property. “With iMIS , they have been able to capture an overwhelming majority of the market share for Title companies in Texas through education, advocacy, and other valued services,” stated Mark Jones, President of enSYNC Corporation, the TLTA authorized iMIS Solution Provider. The Flexibility to Handle Growing and Changing Needs iMIS has been particularly useful to the TLTA in managing their meetings and educational programs. “ iMIS allows us to plan a meeting from start to finish without using a lot of different software programs,” stated Midgley.
